"The excellent bouquet is a mélange of peach, ripe apple, honey, a bit of the petrol to come and a lovely base of chalky minerality. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, fat and long, with lovely nascent complexity, really quite impressive acidity for the vintage, and a long, complex and palate-staining finish."
